Louis Mhlanga is a legendary African guitarist, who has performed globally, never failing to move and impress  audiences with his soulful and intuitive expression of his instrument. Considered a “legend” in the musical fraternity, ‘an artists' artist’, his distinctive and resonant style of ‘picking and plucking’ is mimicked by young and seasoned guitarists alike.

Born in South Africa but raised in Zimbabwe, Mhlanga’s complex and singular technique arises out of a varied landscape of sound. His music embodies the evolution of guitar in Africa and abroad from the 60’s to the present day. Truly a global citizen, Louis has absorbed a multitude of influences as he has forged his unique sound.
